Seriously...

I’ll bet that badge is the owners favorite bit about the car. As long as they like it I guess. I battle with the opposite feeling: I’ve always wanted to pull the M badges off my E46 M3 (previous) and now my E92 M3 (current) and keep them dirty.

The M is all out of whack, both for the car and for the state.

It’s always a 328i, this person wasn’t even trying.

I mean.... At least it’s not an AMG badge.

I’d slap an AMG badge on a regular E90, because people who know about cars would know I wasn’t being serious. I had an M badge on my Explorer for the lolz.

Is it just me, or do you want to go and rip the badge off the car. I had a first gen cts-v and I’m driving along and I see another cts all badged up, so I’m looking for the telltale front and rear air dams and the brembos, nothing, it’s a base cts with the v badges all over it. I so badly wanted to follow them to their stop so I could correct the error.
But alas.... That breaks the first car commandment: Thou shall not fuck with another mans ride... So instead I seethe with disgust for the asshole who would deface a vehicle in such a way.
Am I alone in this? Maybe in just crazy myself?
BTW, I've seen a lot more BMW poseurs than anything else.

Would putting a sticky note over the badge count as fucking with another man's ride?

I have a real m3 and it has less m badges on it than some 328s ive seen....you should need to provide a vin to order them.

I don’t think that would be too bad.
